Sudden Flame

Glaurung unleashes his fury at the Dagor Bragollach, or Battle of the Sudden Flame, in which Morgoth broke the 400 year long siege of Angband by sending rivers of fire from the peaks of Thangorodrim. Following the torrents of flame came the Father of Dragons, then the Balrogs, and behind them countless hordes of Orcs. The Dagor Bragollach was a turning point in the Wars of Beleriand. The Elves and their allies would never fully recover, and Morgoth would remain virtually undefeated until his final overthrow by the Host of the Valar in the War of Wrath.

Not sure if I'm entirely convinced by this design for Galurung, after all. Now that I look at it, I think I want him to look more "wormish", serpentine, and primitive. I might revisit him in the future. But nonetheless, I'm quite happy with how this turned out.
